ATV Adventure at the 7 Colors Mountain: a unique experience in the Andes!
7 COLORS MOUNTAIN ATV EXPLORATION
Adventure Start
At 04:00 am, we will meet at your hotel in Cusco to begin our journey to the Japura community (approximately 3 hours drive), where this fascinating ATV experience will begin.
Energy Breakfast in Japura
Upon arriving in Japura, we will enjoy a refreshing breakfast. Our guide will provide safety instructions, and you will receive the necessary helmets and gloves for the activity. A quad bike test ride will take place before we start the tour.
ATV Adventure
We begin the ATV tour through high Andes paths, surrounded by stunning views of snow-capped mountains and groups of alpacas. The guide will lead the group, and a support vehicle will be available (the time may vary depending on the group).
Walking Tour: Qosqopata to Vinicunca (7 Color Mountain)
From Qosqopata, we start a walk to 7 Color Mountain, a journey of about 45 minutes at a relaxed pace. The maximum altitude we will reach is 5,036 meters above sea level.
Vinicunca Viewpoint
We arrive at the Vinicunca viewpoint, where we will have free time to take photographs and listen to the guide’s explanation about the local geology and culture. If the weather allows, we will take a short walk along the ridge.
Descent and Return by ATV
We return to Qosqopata and then descend by ATV to Japura, where we will take a short break, hydrate, and prepare for the next land transfer.
Lunch in Cusipata
We head to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch with various hot options, accompanied by coca tea and refreshing drinks. We will have free time to rest before the return journey.
Return to Cusco
We depart from Cusipata back to Cusco. The return is scheduled for the afternoon, and the tour will end at the historical center of Cusco or your hotel, depending on the day’s logistics.
