RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR

Pick-up and Departure from Cusco

Between 4:30 am and 5:00 am, our team will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to start this experience. We will embark on a journey of approximately 2 hours, covering about 80 km south of Cusco.

Breakfast in Cusipata – Tintinco

Upon arrival at Cusipata – Tintinco, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by our chefs. If you have any dietary restrictions or are vegetarian, please inform us in advance to offer suitable options.

Transfer to the Starting Point of the Hike

After breakfast, we will continue the journey to the starting point of the hike. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the view of the impressive snow-capped Wiñay Ritty, known as “Forever Young.” Upon arrival, we will have time to organize our hiking equipment (poles, water, cameras, etc.).

Hike to Rainbow Mountain

We will start the hike at a relaxed pace, walking through beautiful high Andean landscapes for approximately 2 hours, while we approach the famous Rainbow Mountain.

Rainbow Mountain (5200 meters above sea level)

We will reach Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), located at about 5200 meters above sea level, where we can enjoy a panoramic view of vibrant colored mountains, a unique natural phenomenon. After admiring the landscape and taking photos, we will begin our descent, which will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Lunch at a Local Restaurant

After completing the hike and returning to the bus station, our vehicle will take us to a local restaurant where we will enjoy a typical and comforting lunch to regain our energy.
