Adventure on the Urubamba River: experience the thrill of the rapids!
URUBAMBA RIVER RAFTING TOUR
Tour Start
At 08:45 am, we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin this exciting adventure. We travel to Cusipata in a comfortable bus, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach the Cusipata River Camp, a camp located on the banks of the Urubamba River.
Welcome and Preparation
Upon arrival at the camp, which has changing rooms, hot showers, a sauna, and a dining area, we will prepare for the activity. The professional rafting guides will give us a safety briefing and provide the necessary equipment: spray suits, helmets, life jackets, and windbreakers.
Adventure on the Urubamba River
We will venture into the Urubamba River, where an exciting experience awaits. For approximately 2 hours, we will navigate Class II and III rapids, with the possibility of encountering Class III+ and IV rapids during the rainy season (from December to March).
Return to the Camp
After the adventure on the river, we will return to the camp, where we can enjoy hot showers and relax in the sauna. We will then indulge in a delicious lunch to recharge our energy.
Zip Line Option
As an additional option, you can enjoy an exciting zip line ride, crossing the river from one side to the other at great height. A truly unique experience!
Return to Cusco
After the activity, we will board our transport and return to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 pm, when our tour will conclude.
